Remember, you are not your illness, and you never will be.

Illness may pass through your life, but it does not define who you are. Free yourself from the label, listen to your soul, and follow your path as an evolving spirit.

How many times have you introduced yourself to the world with your pain written into your words?
“My anxiety,” “my depression,” “my headache.”

Without realizing it, you took something that does not belong to you into your arms and embraced it as part of your name.

When we call an illness “mine,” we put down invisible roots in something that, often, should simply pass through us like a wind carrying a lesson.

Pain, discomfort, illness… all of these may have a purpose, but they do not need to become your identity.

You did not come into the world to define yourself by what hurts. Pain can be a tool, a compass pointing inward, but it should never be a label.

The spirit is free and infinite, and no physical or emotional suffering can contain its light. Illness is an experience, an invitation to look within more gently.

A call to listen to the soul. And the more we treat it as something that belongs to us, the harder we make it for it to leave.

Now, once and for all, set yourself free.
You are a medium.

You are not your anxiety.
You are not your sadness.
You are not your diagnosis.

You are more than that.

You are an ascending spirit. You are simply crossing a bridge, and on the other side are learning, healing, and peace.

Say: this is within me, but it is not who I am.
And see how your soul begins to breathe again.

Let go of what imprisons you.
Embrace what sets you free.

And always keep moving forward, fulfilling your mission as a medium of our Umbanda Terreiro Ilê Axé Luz de Odara, in Jacareí (SP) and Heliodora (MG).
