Indigo Adults: The Spiritual Mission of the Ábikús
These adults sense and read people’s energy fields; they are natural readers of energetic manifestations. Gradually, more than anything, they want to learn to balance their energy, embrace their mission and gifts, and learn how to develop and evolve, helping those who continue to be born into this world — children and young people.
The Abiku frequency is available to all human beings and can be accessed as our consciousness expands further and further through learning. The more conscious we become, the better able we are to perceive and access different kinds of realities we previously never imagined existed. As more and more Indigo human beings (Abikus) exist and live together, our spiritual evolution will happen more quickly. Through this coexistence, we will draw ever closer to the fourth and fifth dimensions, since Earth is originally a third-dimensional planet because of its prevailing states of consciousness.
Below, we will describe some characteristics of Indigo adults (Abikus) to help explain the subject we are studying here. They are very intelligent, despite not having earned the best grades in the schools they attended. They had, and still have, an aversion to or hatred of much of the repetitive, compulsory work at school or college. Many experienced existential depression very early, along with a feeling of powerlessness throughout childhood and adolescence. They had difficulty in jobs where they were supervised; Indigo adults (Abikus) resist authority and hierarchical work structures. They have problems with systems they consider failed or ineffective, such as financial, political, medical, and educational systems.
They feel frustration with or rejection of conventional expectations, such as the “dream career,” marriage, and children. They have a burning desire to do something to change or improve this world, but may take time to recognize their calling to fulfill those desires. From a very young age, they are interested in spiritual and esoteric subjects; they have strong intuition in daily life and have had psychic experiences, such as premonitions, hearing and seeing disincarnate people, out-of-body experiences, and so on.
Indigos (Abikus) who are now adults, especially those over 50 years old (or sometimes even older), arrived on planet Earth at a time when there were still few Indigos here, and the energy was therefore denser. The paradigms were different, consciousness was even more limited, standards were much more rigid, and the minds of parents, teachers, and rulers were much more restricted than they are today. These Indigo adults incarnated on Earth at a time when life and reality were entirely framed by socially accepted standards, and anything that did not fit them was regarded as nonexistent.
As children, they were extremely sensitive, and this sensitivity caused them enormous difficulty adapting. They were children whose essence pointed toward a spiritual life, a life guided by higher values. Imagine how difficult it was to incarnate in a time and context so hostile and arbitrary toward the expression of their mediumistic gifts. The mission of these beings on Earth is to bring about change so that values and paradigms can be reconsidered, making room for unity and love to manifest.
In the process of spiritual development, Indigo adults (Abikus) experienced a significant clash between subtler and denser energies, mainly from their families and surroundings. Few families at that time were spiritually developed enough to welcome and understand them. These attitudes caused them great difficulty adapting wherever they went. Their gifts were not accepted within their own families, and many strayed from the spiritual path because they did not receive proper acceptance from the parents, friends, doctors, and priests around them, who misunderstood these gifts through outdated values, sometimes even those of the Middle Ages. They were, and still are, called hyperactive, crazy, bipolar, schizophrenic, ill for no apparent reason, and rebels without a cause. Many were — and still are — excessively medicated and confined to psychiatric institutions, forgetting their true vital essence.
Indigos (Abikus) who understand their mission know the importance of their coming to Earth. They sustain the possibility that Earth will always continue to evolve; everything that does not serve humanity will fade with their presence. They incarnated to help bring social, spiritual, educational, and family transformation to the entire planet, regardless of borders or social classes. They are like catalysts, triggering the reactions needed for all these transformations in humanity to take place.
Indigos (Abikus) did not begin arriving on Earth only in recent generations; what is happening is that their numbers are increasing to help us raise Earth’s vibration. There are now so many that we can no longer ignore them. In our house of spiritual support, many come to us so that we can help them — and they can help us. Of course, some leave before completing their mission in the house and follow other paths that will soon leave them adrift. But we try in every way to explain things in the smallest detail, so that they stay and give themselves the opportunity to complete what they came to do.
We still see much discrimination in our time, whether from some parents, close relatives, doctors, or priests of other religions. In short, we are still going through a period of spiritual adjustment. And you, as a medium, understand that not all of us can be right, but each case is different.
